EquiAction: a passion for horses turned into respite
EquiAction, the endowment fund of the Fédération Française d'Équitation, ran a fully online charity lottery with GoTombola — 30 prizes led by a year behind the wheel of a Land Rover Defender 90, with the proceeds going to people affected by cancer.
EquiAction at a glance
The endowment fund of the Fédération Française d'Équitation, and a six-week charity lottery.
The context: a breather in the face of illness
EquiAction is the endowment fund of the Fédération Française d'Équitation. Its mission: to support people affected by cancer and their caregivers, everywhere in France, by giving them moments of respite in the company of horses — a space away from time and away from the illness.
In France, 3.8 million people are living with a cancer diagnosis. In the face of that ordeal, equine-assisted therapy soothes, gets people moving again and rebuilds connection. Every ticket in the charity lottery funded those moments out of time.
What the fund supports:
- Equine-assisted therapy and moments of respite.
- Support for caregivers and social connection.
- Work carried out everywhere in France.

Play, win, and create respite
The lottery ran entirely online, with no logistics for the endowment fund to handle.
The mechanics, in one sentence
Every ticket received a unique number and gave access to the 30 prizes in the draw; the proceeds, meanwhile, funded moments of respite in the company of horses for people affected by cancer and their caregivers.

Turnkey for the endowment fund
No paper tickets, no point of sale to staff: payment was secured by Stripe, data was processed in compliance with the GDPR, and the additional donation qualified for an automatically generated tax receipt. Alongside it, the Live Wall scrolled through entries in real time — ticket counter, latest participants, seller leaderboard — and kept the momentum of the campaign going.

The screens, just as participants saw them
Four screens were designed from scratch: the welcome screen and its tagline, the prize showcase led by the Defender 90, the entry journey and the transparency area. The terracotta of the campaign, the pink ribbon and the signature of the Fédération Française d'Équitation were followed to the letter.

The entry journey, in three screens
Every step can be customized to the colors, the name and the message of the organization — this was EquiAction's lottery, not a generic checkout funnel.

Choosing your tickets
10 € a ticket, and the quantity picked in a single move — 1, 2, 5, 10+1, 20+2 or 50+5.

Give more support, if you want to
An optional additional donation, which qualified for a tax receipt.

Confirming with confidence
Details, payment secured by Stripe, tax receipt: an entry was wrapped up in a few taps.
The prizes, staged one by one
Every prize got a showcase of its own: a carefully shot photograph that does as much for the gift as for the brand donating it — the organization gains appeal, the partner gains visibility.
